1. Start Planning Your Week

Buy one of those weekly calendars and start planning everything you have to do in a week. It’ll allow you to prioritize your tasks and cut down on things that are non-essential. You can organize your day by assigning time blocks for work, family, exercise, and even sleep.

2. Start Exercising

If you take one hour of your day to exercise, you spend that time taking care of your physical and mental health. Even a small 30 min walk gives you time to clear your mind, detach from work, and reduce stress.

3. Find New Hobbies

The worst part of a bad work-life balance is that you won’t be able to stop thinking about deadlines even during non-work hours. If that’s the case, a new hobby will help you distract yourself from the everyday routine. It’ll also make you feel much more happy and relaxed.

4. Learn to Disconnect

If you have ever checked your work emails or slack messages from your phone while lying in bed, then you’re not alone. While it's good to stay connected with the world, continuously checking your notifications can negatively affect your work-life harmony.
